Almighty God, who forgives the sins of your people and heals all their ailments; who you call yourself: the Lord our Doctor, and sent your beloved Son to bear our diseases; look down on us who are humbled before you.
We ask You in this time of epidemic and need, remember Your love and kindness, which You have ever shown Your people in times of trouble.
As You have graciously regarded Aaron’s reconciliation and put an end to the outbreak, how you accepted David’s sacrifice and ordered the angel, the perverter, to lower his hand, so now accept our prayer and sacrifice and answer us according to your mercy.
Avert this disease from us; let those who are affected recover again; protect those who have been preserved through your kindness and do not let the plague spread.
